In attempts of getting it 'right', I practiced hand-lettering the word 'opportunities' at least 29 times before this page. As I was sketching the rest of the quote, I felt it's better to double-check the quote itself to ensure it's 'perfect' after all that time.
Turns out the quote's different; I guess!
I might have heard the version lettered in a podcast, but the documented version I could find is from the 'The Happiness of Pursuit' book (a lovely read): "The actions you take now will directly affect the opportunities available to you in the future." - Chris Guillebeau
Still gets the gist though!
And the gist's well worth considering; what actions am I taking now that are investments for my future? For one thing; I'm trying to get into to blogging which nourishes other habits I'd like to maintain, like reflecting and writing, on top of helping yield a more expressive online presence.
What action/habit/choice can you start implementing today that could positively contribute to your future? If you feel like sharing, comment your thoughts below!
P.S. I did this a little while ago, but if interested in the pens used; I reckon the word Opportunities was lettered using Faber Castell's PITT Soft Chisel pen and the rest of the text seems to be using a Faber Castell's PITT artist pen (either 1.5 tip or M tip).
Wish you an wonderful rest of your day.
